We recognize that the independent evaluation of our Safety Management System (SMS) through the IAS is critical to maintaining continuous safety improvements and a healthy corporate culture. The Air Charter Safety Foundation's (ACSF) Industry Audit Standard (IAS) is a revolutionary audit program that provides a comprehensive, independent review of an operator's adherence to safety and security regulations.

The ACSF Industry Audit Standard (IAS) is the only audit that specifically evaluates compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135 (and/or 91 Subpart K) regulations. The IAS requires an SMS to be in place and evaluates the SMS based upon published International Civil Aviation Organization and FAA standards. The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) recognizes L.J. Aviation on achieving International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) registration. This is a significant accomplishment and an implementation process that is not easy to complete. Our flight department management and personnel invested considerable time and personal effort to develop and implement a world-class business aviation code of practice to ensure the safety of our clients and employees alike. This registration requires development of programs, systems, processes, and procedures to meet safety and security standards. These organizational, maintenance, operational, training and security requirements are based on international standards and industry best practices, and validation of the entire process has been completed by an independent audit.

L.J. Aviation also maintains a Platinum ARGUS Rating. This rating indicates that our safety compliance and policies not only meet, but exceed all of the requirements and practices set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration. Less than 2% of all charter companies in the aviation industry achieve Platinum status.

With our Safety Management System (SMS), L.J. Aviation goes above and beyond our competition. While not required by regulatory governance, and utilized by less than 10% of all aviation companies, the SMS acts as a guiding document within all L.J.
