L.J. Aviation Receives Diamond Award.
Western Pennsylvania March 17, 2005 – L.J. Aviation, an aircraft services company serving the mid-Atlantic region, has been awarded the Diamond
Award Certificate of Excellence by the Federal Aviation Administration, the highest distinction one may achieve for maintenance excellence.
This award recognizes L.J. Aviation's commitment to the very highest standards of safety, specifically the importance it places on providing employees with on-going training and education.
According to the FAA, this award signifies that L.J. Aviation has distinguished itself as "an elite group of aviation professionals."
The Diamond Award demands rigorous discipline because at least 25 percent of eligible employees must participate in the Aviation Maintenance Technician
Program for the company to qualify for the award. According to the FAA, this is "more than many others would consider attempting."
L.J. Aviation operates a fleet of new and varied aircraft including large, medium, and light jets, turbo-props and helicopters. Offering unique charter programs, comprehensive management
services, and FBO services, L.J. Aviation has been listed by Professional Pilot Magazine as one of the nation’s top 15 charter operators for
